Biography
Allan was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and moved to New York, where
he graduated from North Port in 1969 with an Art Major. Following his
aspirations, Allan was accepted into the School of Visual Arts in New York
City, where he studied for 2 years.
Allan now lives with his family on Vancouver Island where he paints full
time from his home studio. As a visual artist, Allan communicates through
his art, as he tries to create a place for the viewer to go.
"My paintings are an interpretation of the landscape as I see it. I hope,
for a moment, my art allows you to step out of a world full of turmoil and
confusion."
Allan's work is displayed in many corporate and private collections throughout
Canada and the United States. He is an active member of the Federation of
Canadian Artists.
