Gallery

The Alicat Gallery consists of 2500 square feet divided into three connecting viewing areas. Tall ceilings and large walls allow for excellent display of large paintings with lots of distance. The walls are painted in a warm olive taupe which shows off paintings especially well. A mixture of natural light through large windows as well as halogen and tungsten floods provide a broad spectrum light to maximize the colour in oil and watercolour paintings.

Victorian antiques are placed throughout the gallery and are used as display pieces and sitting areas. Paintings are hung in conjunction with furniture to help give the feeling of a home.
There is also a wide selection of fine wood turnings, hand blown glass, raku, metal sculpture, ceramics and stone art displayed in The Alicat Gallery.
